Steiner Ranch Dermatology Offers Breakthrough Acne Laser Treatment
Steiner Ranch Dermatology announced the addition of Isolaz, a revolutionary light-based treatment for eliminating acne, removing unwanted hair and rejuvenating aging and sun-damaged skin."The start of the new year is often a time when people resolve to remove barriers to happiness and confidence," said Dr. Ted Lain, Steiner Ranch Dermatology. "While there are a number of effective ways to prevent and reduce signs of acne, some patients need a little extra help. This new technology gives patients a powerful way to achieve clearer, healthier skin more quickly and more easily than ever before."Through the combination of a vacuum and broadband light to cleanse and refresh pores, this technology represents the only light-based treatment for acne with 3 distinct advantages over less advanced laser-based solutions: it is painless, delivers overnight results and enables patients to resume normal activities immediately after treatment. As the only FDA-approved system for both comedonal and pustular acne, the new approach is broadly effective, capable of quickly and dramatically clearing acne for the vast majority of patients, even those traditionally non-responsive to treatment.Steiner Ranch Dermatology is dedicated to providing patients with the broadest possible range of safe and effective treatment options for skin conditions ranging from acne and rashes to skin cancers and sun damage.
Pick ‘n’ roll: Thursday’s best NBA bets
The Pistons are on the verge of their first three-game losing streak of the season, and they'll have to beat the defending NBA champs on the road to avoid that. Detroit is fresh off an 11-game winning streak in which it outscored opponents by an average of 17 points, but it's all gone wrong this week. The Pistons have shot 39.9 percent from the field in the last two games, failing to score more than 86 points in either contest. It's not going to get any easier for the Pistons tonight when they face Spurs star Tim Duncan. He has recorded double-doubles in all 10 regular-season home games against Detroit in his career, leading San Antonio to a 9-1 record. Pick: Spurs Memphis Grizzlies at Sacramento Kings (-4, 203) Three key injuries have contributed to the Kings dropping six of their last eight games overall and four of five at home.

AC360°: Flirting with disaster
There were supposed to be pictures tonight to give you a view of the control room from the back row. The photos didn't happen because of late word from Chicago that a decomposed body, which could be that of Stacy Peterson, had been found at an industrial site in Chicago. However, If you had gotten those pictures you would have seen: - our satellites coordinator, Brooke Turnbull, with multiple phones plastered to his ears, making sure that the two late guests and two late phoners actually made air at the top of the show - our video coordinator, Ashley Corum, frantically cutting new video of investigators at the site that was being fed in from the field - our line producer, Jenny Blanco, doing rundown aerobics to make sure the hour did not become a 90 minutes showIn the end, Brooke got us the guests, Ashley got us the pics and Jenny got us out on time.
Coach guides Spartans to victory against city rivals
To watch Bill Whitehead and Troy Graefe at their best Friday night was like having a front-row seat for a chess match. No, it wasn't boring. It was strategy at its best. Whitehead, forever a tactician, worked the officials and his Greeley West team to make all of the right moves in the Spartans' 53-41 victory over Graefe's Wildcats. Methodically -- how else would Whitehead approach anything -- the West head coach never once let Graefe see him sweat as the Spartans established play in the paint early in the second period while Greeley Central found itself helpless without much of a perimeter game to respond -- thanks largely to an improved West defense. In the Wildcats' one-point victory over West earlier this season, it was no secret that the Wildcats had one of their best defensive games of the season and were able to take advantage of some key outside shots to send West shaking its heads.
Royals: Kauffman Stadium renovation is on time, budget
The Kansas City Royals said the $250 million renovation of Kauffman Stadium is on time and on budget. About 90 percent of the renovation project will be completed by the 2009 home opener, with the remainder completed by the 2009 All-Star break, the Royals said in a release late Friday. Bob Rice, Royals vice president of ball park operations and development, said in the release that the cost of the stadium overhaul will be very close to the $250 million budget. "We're extremely close and pleased the way things have been going," Rice said in the release. "I think the biggest thing this year is flexibility. Opening Day will possess a whole lot of challenges." Rice said five major projects are scheduled for completion before the 2008 home opener on April 8.
