He also said he felt better that day than he had in years. How long was it after the MCI merger before people thought, "Uh-oh, this is a mistake"?
I would say that there was a consensus across the company that it was a mistake. First of all, the company had to take on a huge debt load to acquire MCI. And a significant portion of MCI's business came from residential sales.

Even worse was Maurice. I thought he was going to cry during his post-game scrum. HNIC's Scott Oake and Kelly Hrudey said it right - it was painful to watch. Unless, of course, you revel in human suffering – or hate the Maple Leafs. It's time to make a decision. These guys don't deserve this anymore. Make a commitment to them, or fire them. Chad to investigate new 'kidnap' claims
The reports come on the heels of Chad's kidnapping charges against six French workers with the group Zoe's Ark who are accused of trying to take 103 other children out of Chad to France. The group said the children were orphans from Sudan's conflict-ridden Darfur region, but the French Foreign Ministry and others have cast doubt on the claims. The Zoe's Ark affair has infuriated Chadians, but it is not known if the group was involved in the alleged transport of the 74 children whose cases have now come to light, said Masngarel Kagah of the public prosecutor's department. The Network of Human Rights Associations in Chad wrote to the public prosecutor's department with details about the 74, who were said to have been flown to a military airport outside Paris on Sept.
Joe Cole hopes that history repeats itself

History would indicate we have done a below-average job of harnessing the energy and potential of growth. What do you see as the county's biggest challenge? What solutions do you see? Clay County's biggest challenge is making the transition from bedroom community to prosperous community. The rapid rate of the growth, due in large part to our quality of life and schools, has stressed every facet of our infrastructure. The solution will not come quickly but only through detailed planning and teamwork with every local, regional and state entity that impacts what we do and how we do it can we expect to posture ourselves for our future.
