French investigators studying dermatologist's murder
French investigators have arrived in the United States, looking to study evidence in the case of a dual citizen accused of killing a Chicago dermatologist in 2006. An arrest warrant was issued in Chicago for Hans Peterson Dr. David Cornbleet's death. But Peterson turned himself in to French authorities. A French judge has ruled Peterson won't be extradited. The French investigators are to decide if Peterson will be prosecuted for murder in the French judicial system. Cook County state's attorney's office spokesman John Gorman says prosecutors hope the French officials change their position on extradition. Cornbleet's son, Jon, of Naperville, has alleged Peterson killed the physician after being prescribed an acne medicine that he believed made him impotent.

These NFL resolutions oughta stick
Arthur Blank I vow to not shake Bill Parcells' hand at this year's owners meeting, not ever. Not in a box, not with a fox. I will not eat green eggs and Tuna. Oh, and I'll probably close up all Home Depots in the state of Arkansas. Michael Vick I resolve to honorably serve my entire jail term without ever once venturing into the shower. Hey, can't blame you for that one buddy. Bill Belichick I resolve to sign my first fashion deal. In staying with my incredibly hip style, I've made my decision and will be coming out with the Bill Belichick 2008 Grrranimals Coach Wear Line. It's going to be hot. Hot I tell ya. Hot. Combating dry skin during cold months
"Jack Frost nipping at your nose" may be a great line in a song, but the reality does little for your complexion. Add to the frost, blasts of dry, wintry wind, sun exposure and overheated office air and your skin may feel dry and even scaly. Indeed, millions of people each winter experience redness and uncomfortably dry and itchy skin, says Dr. Rebecca A. Kazin, assistant professor of dermatology and director of the Johns Hopkins Cosmetic Center. And those who already suffer from more serious conditions such as eczema or psoriasis may find that the cold season exacerbates their symptoms. What do you tell people who come to you complaining of itchy, dry skin? .
Cutting emissions from vehicles will require many solutions
Denver Metro area residents and possibly all residents of Colorado will be facing some tough times in the near future as our air quality fell below federally acceptable levels too many times last summer and lawmakers are considering the adoption of California emissions restrictions on vehicles. Despite better quality fuels, the emissions inspection program, and ever improving emission control devices on vehicles, Denver's air quality has slipped. These restrictions, if imposed, will raise the cost of vehicles, reduce the number of vehicles available for purchase, and do nothing to encourage other options that could help reduce the ozone levels in the summer. What is the solution? Well that has to come from many sources and there are options that don't increase vehicle costs or reduce vehicle ownership choices.
